Higher Limits in Headspace Analysis

SGE's Diamond Headspace Syringes maintain performance up to 150 °C and continue to perform with temperature cycling resulting in an increased headspace syringe lifetime.

A series of 150 injections of samples with an incubation temperature set at 140 °C and a syringe temperature of 150 °C was realized. The whole sequence last more than 20 hours.

                                                                    

Improved Sample and Solvent Compatability

The PTFE plunger tip in Diamond Headspace Syringes enables the use of a broader range of samples and solvents compared with polymers used in plungers of other high temperature syringes, this provides greater flexibility for your headspace analyses and a longer lasting syringe.

Ther is NO dead space on the Diamond Headspace Syringe.  The sample is completely swept from the barrel.

HAMILTON Chaney Adapters 700-1700-7000 Series

The Hamilton Chaney Adapter is a device that assures repetitive and identical syringe plunger location. It eliminates subjective errors when setting a syringe plunger at a specific volume.

Hamilton Company manufactures several types of Chaney Adapters for various applications and syringe models. Each Chaney Adapter is available as an optional accessory for syringes purchased separately.

When you select a syringe for installation into a Chaney Adapter, Hamilton recommends that the maximum preset volume does not exceed 80% of the total volume of the syringe. By using 80% or less of the syringe’s scale length, the overall length of the syringe (with the Chaney Adapter attached) is less cumbersome. Furthermore, the overfill-stop-inject sequence is quicker.
